Using art, music, stories, movement, and play, we create a supportive space for individuals to explore emotions, express themselves, and work through challenges. These techniques help people process feelings, gain insight, and develop coping skills in a way that feels natural and engaging. Learn more about expressive arts here & play therapy techniques here.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
ACT helps clients notice their thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them, and take action guided by what truly matters to them. By cultivating mindfulness, acceptance, and values-driven choices, individuals can live fuller, more meaningful lives — even when life includes stress, various diagnoses, life transitions, etc. Learn more about ACT here.
Tale as old as time- our minds and bodies are deeply connected. Learning to tune into physical sensations, movement, and nervous system cues can help people regulate emotions, manage stress, and build resilience. By noticing the wisdom of the body, clients gain new tools to respond to challenges with calm, awareness, and confidence. Learn more about nervous system work here.
My approach weaves together these frameworks mentioned above with contextualized lived experience. In therapy, you might find yourself asking:
How are my thoughts, feelings, sensations, and actions connected?
How do they reflect my experiences, stories, values, and identities?
What wisdom does my body carry in this process?
